On Friday, May 15, 60 beneficiaries from the Young Mothers Project graduated after successfully completing a two-month tailoring skills training at Uganda Industrial Research Institute. Among the graduates were 58 young women and 2 young men, all equipped with practical skills to help them build sustainable livelihoods and brighter futures.
During the ceremony, ADRA Uganda’s Executive Director addressed the graduands before departing for Nairobi, encouraging them to use the skills acquired to create opportunities for themselves, support their families, and positively impact their communities.
This training marks an important step toward economic empowerment, especially for young mothers working hard to rebuild their lives through education and vocational skills.
We congratulate all the graduates on this achievement and wish them success as they begin this new journey!
