During a project monitoring visit, community members and leaders from Labongoguru Cell in Atanga Town Council reaffirmed their commitment to continue implementing the initiatives introduced through the TOGETHER Project after its completion in 2027.
Recognizing the positive impact the project has had on their community, the local leadership pledged to sustain the structures, groups, and systems established under the project. They also committed to integrating key project activities into the Cell and Town Council development plans and budgets, mobilizing local resources and partnerships, and promoting continued community ownership and participation.
“We recognize the gains and positive impact that the TOGETHER Project has brought to our community. In line with our responsibility to ensure sustainability and lasting benefits for our people, we are committed to sustaining the project’s achievements beyond 2027,” said Mrs. Lapobo Santa, Female Councilor III for Labongoguru Cell.
This commitment demonstrates the strong ownership of local leaders and communities and reinforces the long-term sustainability of the TOGETHER Project’s outcomes.
