The position holder will provide supervision and technical support to food distribution staff ensuring that reception, handling, storage and documentation of commodities movements are aligned with WFP standards and guidelines, manage all food resources and commodities budgets in conjunction with Head of Sub Office and Finance Officer and ensure spending and expenditures are within budget, liaise and meet with donors and other food programming stakeholders

Essential qualifications and experience: A Bachelors Degree in Social Work/Development studies or its equivalent, 3-5 years management experience in the food logistics (warehousing, transportation, distribution), a minimum of one year food assistance program planning experience at supervisory level,  good computer skills, strong communication skills, ability to build relationships cross-culturally, strong track record of successful coordination or management of large commodities operations, ability to multi-task, strong networking skills.
