The successful candidate will be in charge of providing overall leadership, management and technical support in the planning, implementation, monitoring & evaluation, and reporting on all activities of the project taking care of the technical roles as well as reporting to ADRA Uganda and/or WFP. Ensure that issues relating to HIV, gender/protection and environment are mainstreamed within the project.

Essential qualifications and experience: A BA Degree/Masters in Business Administration, Social Science or in other related field.  Extensive exposure to food aid programs management (minimum 3 years) preferably with WFP experience, knowledge of the SPHERE Standards, Humanitarian Accountability Partnerships (HAPI), coaching skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, excellent computer skills, ability to effectively develop rapport and relate to donors, NGOs, counterparts, and government agencies, Fluency in English is essential, ability to achieve personal integrity and trustworthiness, Ability to solve problems and prioritise many demands without losing focus.
